Association of Inshore fishermen unhappy with the opening date decision

The president of the Association of Inshore fishermen, David Burke, conducted a survey amongst a large majority of the 325 lobster fishermen of the Magdalen Islands, which shows that more than 200 of them would’ve postponed the opening date of the lobster season to may 12th. Mr Burke thinks that the cold water temperature will have serious impact on the catch rate for the first weeks of the season:
